A little late, but finally did a quick speed paint of some line art i did last week.

Finally got round to painting this sketch I'd had on my desk for months! Gouache on paper, channelling the spirits of Mary Blair and Lorelay Bove. It's very nearly finished, but I'm probably going to be busy for a while yet, so here it is.

Well done to those who got something in this fortnight just past. It's been a very busy week, so I can't blame anyone for not submitting.

By request, this fortnights theme is the classic Mermaid.

But put your own spin on it. Get creative and mix it up.

Perhaps an underwater frog nymph, a Swamp Siren or make up your own super hero like Sea Urchin-Man!
